I believed working on forgiveness was going to help me, but I didn’t know where to start. This piece is the beginning of my very long and ongoing forgiveness process, put on canvas, abstractly. At the time I was thinking about and considering forgiveness. For me, forgiveness isn’t perfect, and it’s ongoing. But I don’t have to live with a burning resentment everyday when I forgive.
