Kibbi Linga
Self-taught artist Kibbi Linga uses painting as a tool to heal her PTSD. Kibbi’s art allows her to express feelings and truth in a majestic and colorful way, and she aspires to turn her heart’s pain into beauty—one piece at a time.
“My art is a part of my heart, and every painting has a story,” she says. “My trauma is transformed into a spiritual triumph—art heals me.”
While her past was starkly black and white, Kibbi is rewriting her story with love, light and color. She was a uniquely strong child who stood tall in her beliefs of good, love and the Divine. Kibbi is a true mental health warrior with a resilient, spiritual heart.
"As an artist I aspire to create beauty of out my heart’s pain. If I want to create something that I find beautiful, I walk through my heart’s pain.”
The results—uniformly stunning—speak for themselves.
